Holistic approach to life is key to achieving balance and peace.
At Viva Kenetic, we believe that a holistic approach to life is key to achieving balance and peace. Our mission is to provide holistic remedies that work collaboratively with other alternative treatments to heal and help manage anxiety, grief, depression, and other mental and physical ailments. We specialize in inflammatory diseases, including Crohn’s disease, cancer, lupus, fibroids, and other dis-eases that affect the mind and the body. Our selfcare kits incorporate audio/visual (sound healing) and sensory experiences that engage the subconscious while sleeping, utilizing audiobooks, breathing, and relaxation techniques. We incorporate sounds such as waterfall or rain to make it an immersive experience as though our clients can smell and touch it, using included materials in the package such as candles, stones, crystals, and more.
The name Viva was given to Yvette by a longtime friend who gave it to her while she was a part of a popular clique in High School. Everyone in the group had a nickname and Viva was a term of endearment that a friend has continued to use. Kinetic was born out of a holistic and scientific perspective that gives life to the moving force of Viva. Yvette is a British born and raised, with Caribbean parentage specifically from Montserrat, West Indies. Yvette was introduced to a holistic way of life as a child where only natural drinks and home cooked meals were prepared. Yvette had the privilege of experiencing mauby, ginger beer, limeade, sorrel (hibiscus), ginseng and other natural drinks as a child. Before returning to school drinks known in the Caribbean as bush teas, such as senna and Aloe, were given to clean out (A.K.A wash out) your system. When we were sick ginger tea was generally given to help the stomach, and fever grass was boiled to help keep down the fever. Many natural remedies were provided through adolescence into adulthood that continue to be used. Yvette has long been interested in psychology, especially with the mind and how people present certain behaviors.
When crisis forces a HipHop Architect, Poet and Griot to return to his instrument. ( words)
Self Help Life sound therapy, originated during the summer of 2021 in Kissimmee, Florida. This stemmed from a chain of events that led to a family crisis. An emergency of this magnitude can bring about stress, chaos and disagreements. The author realized that if the situation was not taken care of immediately, he would suffer from physical illness. The effects were noticed by a few close friends and family as they witnessed the author's physical and mental anguish.
The author noticed that his ability to communicate with others was limited because the stress was affecting his thinking process and words were disorganized. He quickly realized for his survival he had to speak with his therapist. He returned to his best form of communication and childhood instrument, which included writing, poetry and affirmations. The legendary poet and griot (storyteller) had to reactivate his skill set to be able to effectively communicate and save his life from the turmoil that was created. Hence, his creative juices flowed, which allowed him to express a range of feelings.
Sound healing therapy has been used throughout the world for medicinal purposes. It has been recorded and practiced by many cultures and healing systems. There are many indigenous societies that utilize sound healing in ceremonies and dance rituals with specific instruments designed for certain intent. With proven historical, scientific and cultural evidence different tones, harmonics or music aids in the healing process.
